Trump was a Rorschach test during the election. People saw what they wanted to justify their vote.

2 years of actual Trump policy will be different.

I’m not saying a bunch of rednecks will push buttons for the Dems but I wouldn’t be surprised is Republicans voters just don’t turn out in record numbers. Add in the fact it’s a midterm with lower voter totals unless motivated and there’s a chance.

Nah they're voting Republican no matter what.

They'll come up with some dog whistle to rile up their voters by election season. SJWs, CRT, DEI, immigrant caravans, trans stuff, terrorists, whatever.

Shyt always works.

I feel like this won’t turn out the way they think.

Didn’t Missouri vote in favor of Dem policy recently? And the GOP just ignored it or overturned it?
Missouri favors liberal/democratic policies and agendas (voted to approve abortion, voted to strike down an anti-labor bill, voted for legal weed, etc.), but then votes for republican governors/attorney generals/etc. who are against all of these measures. It’s the most ass backwards thing ever.

The economy is what got Trump in over all that and the economy will always override any other issues. The tariffs will be in effect for a whole year and a half if the Supreme Court doesn’t strike it down until June 2026.

Midterms are always less engaged and the party in power usually loses seats.

Trump isn’t on the ballot
