I made a thread about it. Do you know anyone that knows anyone that has it ?

https://www.thecoli.com/threads/do-...t-knows-anybody-that-died-from-corona.765394/

I mean if it's spreading so fast I should be seeing RIP posts all on my timeline etc right ? I'm just hearing numbers with no proof. I'm not on board with the Tom Hanks shyt either. Until I see some regular person that has lost a relative or something I'm not on board

A lot of that is because it's not killing children or people in their 20s/30s, who make up the people online & their children.

It's killing the elderly.

It's got like a 20% fatality rate for people over 70 or something like that.

So, you're gonna see some grandparents dead.

Plus, because the US is so inept, we don't really have enough tests to test the people who might have it, so we don't know how and why people are sick until it's too late.

Not quite. Based on the numbers from China its around 14% for people 80 and over then around 8% for people in their 70's then goes down quite a bit once you get into the lower age brackets.

Our government really dropped the ball with testing. They could have used the model made by German scientists but instead insisted on making our own which wasted a months time. When the tests became available local labs couldn't validate the tests so they have to send them back to the CDC so they could validate them wasting more time.

The NBA suspended all games starting Thursday after a player for the Utah Jazz preliminarily tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.

The league said play would be suspended until further notice.

The test result was reported shortly before tipoff of Wednesday night's game between the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma City, according to a statement from the NBA. The game was canceled immediately.

The affected player was not in the arena at the time of cancellation. The NBA also announced that it would use the hiatus to determine its next steps.

A game between the Sacramento Kings and the New Orleans Pelicans in New Orleans was also suspended because one of the referees at the game had worked a Jazz game earlier in the week, according to NBC Sports.

Wednesday night's other games were allowed to go ahead.

The move by the NBA is the biggest in the U.S. to date in response to concerns about the spreading coronavirus. Earlier Wednesday, the NCAA said it would restrict attendance at its coming Division I men's and women's basketball tournaments to staff and family.

Reporters at the Jazz-Thunder game tweeted that the entire arena was emptied and that both teams were still in their locker rooms while the Jazz bench area was cleaned.

Rudy obviously had the shyt for at least a week or twp but just recently started receiving symptoms.. I just heard Donovan Mitchell now got it also:snoop: I wouldn't be surprised if half the team has it now since they're very close with Rudy.

The Toronto Raptors should also get checked since they are the last team to play the Jazz in an actual game.
