but meek been getting outshined by a bunch of people as soon as he started rapping.

thats probably the most enraging thing about this. of course we fukked with meek...he was alright and had some catchy songs...but dude was NEVER looked at as the best in philly, and we NEVER looked at him as the face of philly once he got on.

this beans shyt needs to get sorted out though and if all this is true...i hate it had to be nikka beans.

but meek getting shytted on and taking an L is a HUGE W for philly rappers.

Its an opportunity to let the hip hop community know we dont fukk with meek like that and he never represented us. the nikka has like 2 or 3 blocks in strawberry mansion who will fukk with them of course cause thats where his people are. OBH been running the streets and been chasing DC around for months...someone post that video of OBH running that DC nikka out of the spot and kicking his car and shyt while he peeling off.

I 100% feel you on this. I'm in Houston and I facepalm at the fact that since 2010, the most notable rappers here as far as buzz have been the Sauce Twinz and Kirko Bangz (which ironically both have had songs with Meek Mill).

I've pretty much been saying this since 2011, and people act like I'm just "hating" and "can't stand to see a young black man get money" () Meek is a very average one dimensional rapper. He has 1 flow and it never changes from song to song. He's not trash, but he ain't some heavyweight either. That's not hating at all, those are facts. He's a very average rapper that is capable of making bangers here and there, and nothing more. If he came out in the early 2000s, he'd be the dude that gets his New Joint premiered on 106 and the song is never heard from again. He's definitely a beneficiary of this watered down era in rap
