If Beans gets credit for knockin out Gillie, when all he did was quickly slam him on South Street All-Star weekend, then Knox knocked out Beans. Even though all accounts of it was that they were drunk Knox slumped him into a chair, then they started fighting. They were cool like a month later...Knox became Beans "manager". As for Gillie, South Street is tourist central but people actually go there....especially then. There's always 100 cops on a normal day...All-Star weekend you could barely move anywhere in center city. He slammed him and it was quickly broken up.
But y'all really need to listen. If there's a KoP, it's Gillie. He shows love, he gets love, he's everywhere, knows everyone, and he's respected on the streets. But that's why he calls himself King and no one ever disputed it. But in the city, people like Gillie, Oschino, Free, Liva, Spade, Peedi, Black Deniro, Mike Knox, Beans, Jade, Jakk Frost, Sandman, Nina...they're all on the same level. The people that came up with Meek - Reed, Haddy, Frank Grippaz, Kre, Hollowman, Quilly, Scorp, NH, Cyssero, Chic, Ab - they're on the same level here. But no 1 person/rapper can say they run Philly. It's too big and n!ggas barely leave their block and Beans is hardly ever in Philly. The ONLY rapper you could ever really give credit to runnin Philly was Tommy Hill. And Philly's favorite son will always be Will Smith.
Question - how come no one brings up how ______ killed the Gunnaz man, over a beef that was mostly started by Jigga puttin the bug in Beans ear?
