No one cares, really. Get his money. But y'all saying ish that everyone been knew. It still doesn't elevate his status in the city, so while y'all look at him as the face..and he is the face of Philly to the mainstream, but everyone saying he's not that great of a rapper, or this-and-that, but it's y'all that gave him that.

The problem others have with him is that Cosmic is viewed as a pay-for-play, and I know there are a few others that he does mess with, he doesn't allow for everyone to have equal ground and let the people decide. If you come to Philly and all you here on local stations is Meek, even though others have songs out there buzzing, you would assume he the only one working. So a lot of other artists had their outside lane cut off inside the city.

This is all facts...was trying to explain this to someone from out of town the other day who asked me about how much the city fukks wit meek and told them that people don't hate him here but we also don't love him as much as people from outside of the city might think nikkaz here know there are plenty of other better rappers from the city who should be on but aren't like homie said in the other post him linking up wit Jahlil and making a couple of bangers is what elevated him to the next level and separated him from the other rappers at the time...but everyone here understands he not the best rapper and no one looks at him like the "king of philly" if that even exists

So what y'all are saying is Meek is a better songwriter than all of those nikkas? Not familiar with Joey's songs, but Reed and Cyssero were only good for "freestyles" from what I remember.
