To have the Street Fighter IP in their grasp is something that Activision would love. The game is already rehashed every year just like Call Of Duty so it would fit right in to Activision's Portfolio.

If activision got their hands on Capcom say goodbye to the mining of Capcoms back library. Games like 3rd Strike Online may still would've been made but kiss the lesser known Remakes goodbye (Darkstalkers: Resurrection)

Street Fighter would be rehashed every year and say goodbye to Marvel vs Capcom if a new edition bricks

Activision barely listens to the CoD audience, what makes you think they're willing to listen to a community as vocal as the Fighting Game Community?
