I'm Honestly starting to think black people don't watch shyt but ratchet bullshyt why else would a channel like TLC have a housewife of such and such show? Flava of love popularized that bullshyt...that light skin cat from CNN ( forgot his name) left CNN a few years back to go to BET and got his own show called DONT SLEEP...shyt got cancelled after a year

I am t watch BET since the TV show THE GAME been off that channel...but I will watch if they have sports and sports debate shows like first take...we need social commentary we can't have black reporters/TV personalities getting muzzled for speaking on black issues while we have our own channels and not giving them a platform

Diddy's revolt TV? we got at least 3 channels that claim to cater to black voices...I highly doubt they would try to censor black voices on black channels speaking on black issues ...we can't be p*ssy on this if we support jemelle hill, get BET or centric or OWN to give her a show...

Jemelle is a fukkin 40 year old woman, she shouldn’t need a sitdown convo about why supporting articles that label black men as white supremacist is a bad look, it’s clear as day she agrees with it or she never would have that shyt on her twitter page for all her followers to see. You talking about a gender war? The article she tweeted is the exact shyt the causes gender wars, did you not see the discussion the article created when it was dropped? It was nothing but black women and black men arguing about who was opresssed more.

This isn’t eye for an eye, this is people refusing to defend somebody who supports generalizing an entire group of people. If we are the so called oppressors the fukk she need our support for?

I understood the article was inflammatory I never read it but I remember when the general statement was just a tweet that came from a black man that I challenged on Twitter and eventually got blocked. And yea i know it incited the gender war even more which is why I said I wouldn't continue that cycle by acting vindictive . Right or wrong she has the right to her opinion, but I'm not going to let that opinion make me turn the other cheek towards her in this situation. If you want to that's cool, I understand where you're coming from, it just ain't in me. I'd stand by her despite her previous opinions on black men. Just not here to continue a war between black men and black women when we aren't each other's real enemy. And we're never going to be able to move forward until that's realized.
