If you work for a company it's probably not a good look to speak out against their business partners interest.
I'm not saying she's wrong but working for ESPN it's not a good idea to talk like that on social media. At this point she might wanna just quit because she's likely gonna end up fired.
When I don't agree with something the company I work for does I keep those opinions to myself. It's awkward to take a check from a company and speak out against their interests. ESPN is the ones that have to explain to their business partners why one of their employees is on social media suggesting fans boycott said business partner.

With regards to this: If you relying on checks from someone else, you may have the right to free speech, but you can't just say stuff that might mess with business and get away scot-free. The mere fact of implying fans to boycott the advertisers can hurt ESPN's $$$, plain and simple.
If anything, this should just be a lesson to boss up and control your own messaging without consequence.

If she wants to go indie start a podcast and a youtube channel.

for example, say if magic johnson was still on there and made those comments and john skipper and the espn executives say magic u suspended... how much u want to bet Lebron, curry and the rest of the players say we boycotting espn and not doing any more interviews with that network and we don't care if u broadcast our games or not. then espn would run to magic door begging for him to come back.
