You’re telling people to boycott the NFL while you’re working for a network that primarily covers the NFL... I mean I don’t agree with her being suspended but I understand. You know them fools are going to do whatever they can to try and protect themselves

They were ready to replace her that night the first time she got warned until every black personality there stepped in and deaded it.
if she's smart, she'll resign. Just avoid the humiliation.

Its clear she wants to be a twitter activist instead of elevating the profile of black women in a coveted TV spot. You can't have both.

They dont want you there and they're looking for reasons to can your ass. Can't cover this in "Anti-Trump activism"

I'm throwing my support behind our sister...Just need to figure out the next step...She didn't say anything wrong this is what people mean when they say systematic racism because that is exactly what is on full display.

Nope.

She's chosen her side and we gotta let her hold her own titties. She's taken advantage of black male support every time she's in hot fire with ESPN only for her to turn around and throw us under the bus when convenient for her black feminist agenda.

Have you already forgotten her retweeting that pathetic Damon Young article calling straight black men the "white people of the black community"? :what:

Well thats HER fault isn't it?

The entire process of being hired means compromising who and what you are for money.

If she wants to go indie start a podcast and a youtube channel.

Why can't she just shut the fukk up on twitter? Why is she putting her co-host in jeopardy?

You can't keep going to bat for her over this shyt.

You wanna spit the real? Fine, but they're not obligated to fukk with you. AND you're hella expendable . You're a goddamn anchor on a sports channel. You're no athlete. You're the first person out of the building when shyt goes left. You should have known the workplace politics.

You're not that smart are you?

My entire point is that she very well knows the possibilities of losing her job. And that he bills are paid, mortgage is good, and if she loses this job with ESPN, she will be good.

You can't understand this because your life is probably not set up this way.

Do you homie but Im down with anyone putting up the good fight...I don't give a damn about a feminist agenda or none of that shyt but she's is black first and foremost all that other shyt is secondary...

Jemele's just got caught up in Twitter too much recently. She just gotta make her impact outside of Twitter, like she's probably been doing. That's actually tangible.

With regards to this: If you relying on checks from someone else, you may have the right to free speech, but you can't just say stuff that might mess with business and get away scot-free. The mere fact of implying fans to boycott the advertisers can hurt ESPN's $$$, plain and simple.

If anything, this should just be a lesson to boss up and control your own messaging without consequence.
ESPN is in a crisis with people droppin that channel left and right :gucci: Did she just not witness MAD ESPN talent get chopped this summer. Then she wants to tweet about people boycotting an NFL team

:dead:

She be tryin too hard

Jemelle just quit ESPN already :pachaha:
