There's some leeway for former athletes but a professionally trained journalist knows better. You don't see many other journalists jumping the lines she's jump. There's some give and take, and no real wrong answer though. I think the rumor of ESPN getting rid of her is a little overblown. ESPN knows this would look real bad and Jemele just needs to stay of twitter which if you ever listened to their HnH podcast, Mike Smith has been telling her to do for years its seems.
