Yeah.. Harbaugh gutted the weapons department.. I trust his process tho. But he gonna need some to really do something.
Yeah, biggest worry is falling behind multiple scores or when they need to flip the game clock real quick late in a close game. The Raiders were one bad decision away from potentially winning that game and their offense ain't that wild. This defense against the better offenses means there are going to be games this season where they fall behind heavy. Bills tried to do the clock control thing to the Chiefs last year and would've worked fine if the game stayed that way because the Bills would've had the ball last for some heroics. However, the Chiefs flipped it on them and hit a
quick touchdown putting a lot of pressure on Buffalo to stop playing slow, which they couldn't do. Then the Chiefs started playing slow and grinded away the clock.
we got the QB, but need the gamebreaking offensive weapons. A lot of cap next year to maybe do that then, but you always run the risk of getting a rich player with a personality problem that don't vibe with your QB/system and we're in the middle of Herbert's prime so we can't waste much time. That's why I'm really hoping for a weapon this draft to be there or go interior OL to finish off the offensive trenches, both of those players I'm thinking of right now are Arizona Wildcats (McMillan and Savaiinaea) then spend that money on defense.
