Exactly. If Vince actually took on board a bit of the IWC and his LIVE CROWD'S opinion that we hit PeakCena nearly a decade ago and rested him for 6 months here and there, he might still be healthy and the world might not be quite so fukking sick of him.

He HAS had a good year, but the half the crowd still hate his guts and he's supposed to be a Hogan-tier face. Injury or not he needs a rest and the world needs a rest from him.
There's only one thing the world needs from Cena and it's to go fukking heel on the entire roster.

LEGIT heel. Not this "He's trolling and they're booing so he's a heel" shyt :hmm:

Saw this on another site and had to post here. Crazy stat:

– A recent stat has come up regarding the recent glut of injuries that have hit major WWE Superstars. All the talents who left WrestleMania 31 as champion are currently on the injury list. Here’s all the champions at the end of the event who are currently out with an injury:

* Seth Rollins, WWE world heavyweight champion
* John Cena, WWE US champion
* Daniel Bryan, WWE Intercontinental champion
* Nikki Bella, WWE Divas champion
* Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, WWE tag team champions

The 'E is in some big trouble with these injuries.

Should wwe ease up on the wellness program?

Nah, I dont think the wellness is the problem. I have always thought the schedule is too much. 200-225 shows/year is way too much.

They should have 2 weeks off every 3 months. All that travel and wrestling that much is too much on the body. Its not just the US, they are in Europe, Japan, Africa, etc as well. They feel like they have to push harder in the gym as well to keep up. Its alot. They also dont need to run shows in every city so that Tupelo, MS gets 2-3 house shows/year. RAW live every week is cool, but some weekend without house shows are necessary.

NONE of the above got hurt on a RAW or PPV. They were dark matches, working out to keep up, house shows vs. Kane, etc. Cut back a little, Vince. Its best for business.

More Backstage Details on John Cena's Injury and Successful Surgery

WWE.com has published an article on John Cena’s shoulder injury and subsequent surgery, which we noted was underwent successfully this past week in Birmingham, Alabama.

The article features comments from Dr. Jeffrey Dugas at the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, who performed Cena’s surgery. Dugas had the following to say on Cena’s procedure:

“He had a complete tear of a small portion of the rear rotator cuff tendon, the infraspinatus — toward the top-back of his shoulder — which I repaired. Also, there was a large piece of loose tissue in his shoulder that needed to be removed.”

Dugas also revealed that the surgical team discovered some deterioration that had occurred in Cena’s AC joint and that was addressed during the procedure as well. Regarding recovery, Cena is set to work on his range of motion before he starts putting weight on the shoulder.

No timetable for Cena’s return was provided, but as we previously noted, he could miss anywhere from 6-9 months and will miss WrestleMania 32. Dugas added:

“The first hurdle is getting the cuts to heal and getting cartilage to form over the defect. After that, we’ll get back to function.”
