this not true! If we hadnt choked game 1 it woulda been a 7 game series ECF for sure. Thibs dont even use kat right hes probably the 2nd or 3rd most skilled big.

we have the 3rd best PG in the east and probably the best big behind embiid and jokic
KAT doesn't use KAT right. He's too scared to demand the ball from Brunson. He definitely don't want Hart traded or he'd never get touches. Hell, he was scared to demand the ball from Jimmy, and it was supposed to be his team at that point.

As for defense, if a defensive minded coach like Thibs couldn't get effort from those 2, there's not a single other coach that will. No matter what, you can't hide 2 defensive liabilities that are both the 2 best offensive players.

Like I said, you can't fault the Conference Finals loss on Thibs. Indy was an anomaly. They're like the only team in the playoffs playing 10-11 guys. They have a very unorthodox style of play. There's no go-to player, there's no schemes, very little strategy. They morph multiple styles. The only consistent thing is that they take care of the ball, but a good defense can counter that. Other than benching Brunson & KAT, how would you counter all of the wide open layups? Every other team has an 8 man rotation for the playoffs. That's normal.

Update: I never posted this yesterday. They didn't take care of the ball, and still won. Crazy

no go-to player, but schemes and strategy are out of the park with this team. It aint like they're playing iso ball out here

they had the most player movement and the most ball movement this season, you don't get that AND be a successful team without scheming it up and strategizing it up

most other teams in that quadrant was lookin at the lottery, not the playoffs
