If he ain't coaching, does it matter?

Phil didn't get to 11 titles because he could identify talent. He got 11 titles because he could inherit it. Y'all know I think Woj is a doofus, but he said this morning "can you really envision someone like Phil Jackson flying out to watch the Missouri Valley Conference tournament to look at draft candidates?" That's what he's gonna have to do. I feel bad for the next coach he hires (he recommended Mo Cheeks to Detroit so if that's any indicator). First three game losing streak he has, Knicks fans will be chanting "We Want Phil"

I thought he always wanted a role with the knicks since forever. His reputation is already saturated with Godlike admiration, so it wouldn't really hurt him :yeshrug:
