I think the outcome of learning he is a racist is a larger burden to him in his professional life than fact that he said a bad word.
I also think blacks are finally getting some of the political steam that other groups have garnered. This is having the same affect on Riley as inserting 'fakkit' or 'Jew' would have, and thats a good thing for the sake of equality.

The logical disconnect is amazing in some folks. Just because white folks don't say it openly does not mean they aren't saying it or that the word will disappear. A lot of white folks want us to not say it either because they can't say it. Not because it's a bad word or because they history of it, but simply because "if I can't say it then neither should you". The man said it on camera at a Kenny Chesney concert while attending the concert with teammates one of which was standing right next to him. That ain't got nothing to do with hip hop.

Well compare it to him saying the word as a label vs him saying the word in a malicious way.

Compare him saying nikka vs him saying ******.

He said the word in a malicious way and he said the er version which justifies him being cut.
