Think about all the black men recently getting the long 30-40 year sentence overturned and serving a huge amount of time in prison, there must have been alot sentenced to death who were innocent.

I don't support the death penalty, American is truly backwards in alot of ways

This. I don't support the death pebtantly because I'm sure there have been many innocent folks who've been sentenced to death. Not to mention it costs tax payers tons of money.

I believe in eye for an on the streets, but not in the court room.

I hear people who are morally against the death penalty and I wonder,given what the alternative was for him {natural life in prison, in a max security cell}, how is that anymore humane,how does caging a man like a dangerous animal make us a better society? I have seen inside those cells, I wouldn't want to be in one for 24 hours, let alone the rest of my life.

Anyhow I believe this was the right decision, I personally wouldn't have even taken him through the court system, but treated him like president roosevelt did to german spies caught in your country during ww2... I would have had him interrogated and once he was of no further use , I then would have put him up against a wall and shot him by firing squad. There would have been no spectacle of a trial, and we are either at war or we are not.
