Sohh Obama stans, he said that the Standing Rock protesters are "making their voices heard"

But yet called the Baltimore protesters thugs and criminals :francis:

"That is not a protest. It is not a statement. It's people, a handful of people, taking advantage of a situation for their own purposes — and they need to be treated as criminals,”

He made it seem like the Natives are protesting something noble (which they are) yet when referring to black people, they are just no good thugs and he stands by that statement.
Yup. And I don't see anything wrong with it.

President Obama doesn't regret using the term "thug" in describing the violent rioters in Baltimore this week, spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday.

"Whether it's arson or, you know, the looting of a liquor store ... those were thuggish acts," Earnest said.

In discussing the riots Tuesday, Obama assailed the "criminals and thugs who tore up the place," and described them as a distraction from the real issues of police brutality.

Some critics ascribe racial connotations to the word "thug" -- Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake walked back the term earlier this week -- but Obama doesn't agree, officials said.

The vast majority of the protesters of a recent police killing acted in a law-abiding way, Earnest said.

"At the same time, we saw a small minority of individuals engaged in other activity that was not responsible that is clearly a crime," Earnest said.

He added: "And when you're looting up a convenience store or you're throwing a cinder block at a police officer, you're engaging in thuggish behavior and that's why the President used that word."
Don't act like a criminal or thug and you won't be called one. Does it hurt to called that? Sure it does.

You can protest without destroying your community and acting like you have no home training.

That was the past...what about now?
What about now? ....uhhh.... Native American's have zero power - in terms of political power, influence, money, and even land. They're basically destroyed as a people. Who can they help?

I just don't think its fair to paint them as a some sort of non-empathetic entity to dismiss them when historically its simply unfounded.

Obama has now done more for Native Americans than he has for Black folk.......... ain't that some shyt :obama:

Which is why I don't even give a fukk either way, I'm not rejoicing, a lot of the so called natives are cacs anyway, and some of them were being racist toward blacks that were trying to help and Obama hasn't really done shyt beneficial for us

At the end of the day all I care about is the welfare of blacks, everything else is secondary :shaq2:

I think he was refrencing the individuals destroying property and inciting violence not people peacefully protesting.

Aren't you Canadian??

You don't have the truth nor the full scope about what went down during the Baltimore and Ferguson UPRESTS. They were not riots. Cacs riot for Kentucky or UConn winning the NCAA Championship. Black people were demonstrating against a violent, repressive regime and the media spinned one Walgreens burning down to black animals are destroying all of Baltimore...give me a break

I was wondering when someone would say this. In his response to the Baltimore uprising, he did NOT diffrienciate between the ones who were vandalizing the police cars and those who weren't. Obama, being the president and having a reputable black background has to chose his words carefully and he did not. It sounded like any other white president would've said.

Definition of criminal:
a person who has committed a crime.
I have a clean record. If I started burning shyt down and committing arson, in that very moment that makes me a criminal because I have engaged in criminal behavior by committing a crime. The good thing is, because I don't have a clean record, the term criminal would not be used to describe me as a person unlike those with records who have engaged in criminal activity numerous times to the point where the term sticks with them.

By legal definition he's not wrong. It's just a very hurtful thing to say and I don't think he was trying to be hurtful to anyone.

They have enough clout to demand funding for one their tribes who denies black people from marrying them :francis:

Obama Admin To Recognize Indian Tribe That Bans Interracial Marriage With Blacks

They have enough political clout to have the gov of California to sign a bill banning the Redskin slur on all schools and teams :francis:

California is first in the nation to ban ‘Redskins’ school mascot

But when it comes to even just showing to our events to help black people or even show soliderity (million man march2 doesn't count because they showed up to suit their interests, not ours) they are no where to found.
