The problem with ending the Filibuster is that the Senate is heavily slanted towards Republicans because Democratic votes are spread out.
The Democratic half represents tens of millions more voters, yet doesnt have that same power when it comes to Senate votes.
If the filibuster is eliminated, it becomes very easy for the Republicans to pass literally anything since Wyoming has the same power as California.

That being said, I would still take my chances and get rid of the Filibuster because voting rights are that important.
But even to end it, they would have to vote, and MANCHIN HAS ALREADY SAID MULTIPLE TIMES HE WILL NOT VOTE TO END THE FILIBUSTER.

With that weak mentality......

When GOP voter suppression works and/or Red States overturn election results that go against them I don't want to hear any complaining from all you Dem excuse making bootlickers.

WEAK
WEAK
WEAK

Tired of all these excuses for their fukking weakness.
This is all pointless. Dems don't have the balls to do what they need to do (and can do) to end GOP voter suppression.

He wasn't tripping because he got the favor with supreme court judges, He even said "They can change the presidency, they can change the senate, but they can't change this"

Even then, that's still not enough for Mitch and he enjoys being a nuisance and making things difficult even at the expense of the country. Manchin and Sinema are doing his bidding, so he doesn't have to.

Stop playing dumb. They can end the filibuster for this Voting Rights Bill and then will only need a simple Majority to pass it.

Yall always do this deflection bullshyt.

How? Lets hear it. And I mean a REAL way. Because without Manchin and Sinema.. ITS NOT fukkIN HAPPENING.

Why cant you understand that part?

Ending the filibuster isn't going to happen for obvious reasons, but there are ways around it without eliminating it entirely. That will/should be the more likely option, which would prevent less problems in the future and the plan backfiring once its all said and done.

You don't want to run into a situation where the solution you created becomes a problem that you have no control over in the outcome.

Like what fam? And at this point.. if there's a way to get rid of it.. I'd love to hear it. Becauwse I'm gonna tell you right now.. if the repubs take back the senate and house in the mid terms.. they're gonna win the presidency in 24. And then THEY'll end the filibuster and democracy in this country is 110% done.

Finito.

Did you not watch the fukking video?

What the fukk have I been screaming about in every damn political thread?

END THE FILIBUSTER!

Ok cool.. without Manchin and Sinema.. how? :unimpressed: You must know something we all dont.

They do have the majority based on the fact that they have Kamala Harris tie breaker. It's a narrow majority, but a majority none the less.

Which means nothing in most cases unless you eliminate the filibuster which Manchin and Sinema won't do because they are Democrats in name only. They will vote with Dems on some issues but Manchin especially has always broke rank and voted with the GOP.

People who use the term "Dems" like it encompasses all are dumb. Democrat is a big tent. Progressives, moderates, also people like Manchin who flip flop..

GOP is not a big tent. They are not really moderate anymore. Most have gone full on far right.. which helps their cause. They are all on the same page.
