Damn...i was riding on the metro north this morning literally looking at that building as we passed it around 8:35 AM. This gives me chills right here. I grew up on Lenox ave and have friends that live in the area. This is sad.

Apparently someone from the building next to them called con ed smelling gas and 15 minutes later the building exploded.
