I'm currently staying in San Diego and I have talked to some of the locals about the move. In my opinion, Qualcomm needs to be replaced badly. With everything that goes on with the city and have people all over the world who live or travel in SD, that can build another stadium and use if for so much more than football if they want to. Plus, I just cannot see LA embracing the Chargers at all. The team is just fine where they are at now :manny:.

The city is trying to replace the current dump. They just need the owner to sit down and negotiate (which he won't until LA is no longer an option).

All 3 teams are in a race to chase the money of the 2nd largest market in the nation. The difference is...Spanos and Davis ard pawns compared to Kroenke (Rams owner....married to owner of walmart). This is all on how bad he wants LA. If he gets the nod (75% vote by owners), he will have to pay the NFL Relocation Fee (estimated 500 mil). Some of that will go to the Chargers and Raiders towards helping to build new stadiums in their current city (pretty much a consolation prize).

Lowkey. The MLB is sitting in the background like :smugdraper:. They'd have the entire east bay and essentially everything south of LA.

The new A's baseball park if the Raiders leave will be :ohlawd:. Lew Wolff is probably at the church praying right now......Adam Silver and the NBA probably hyped as hell too.

So what if the owners don't approve of all three? Then the team(s) that didn't make the cut have alienated their fan base.

How could 3 NFL teams work in one city? Seems to me that one of those teams will get a very small piece of the pie (I'm guessing Chargers).

Are their multiple pro-capacity football stadiums available in LA that could be used next season?

I think the owners will have a hard time approving of all three teams.

There's zero chance they approve all three. They will at MOST approve two and will most likely only do one:manny:

only one spot for a stadium. maybe down the road we will get a second as of right now only one team will be able to come to LA.

The whole Raiders-Chargers alliance for the Carson stadium plan I don't like for the simple fact that an original AFL franchise would have to move to the NFC :scust:. I think the League and it's obsession with it's history would like to avoid that and I don't think the Cardinals or the Seahawks want to leave the NFC either. I think it's either gonna be the Chargers or the Rams. I heard due to the bad history with Al Davis and the League especially suing the league to get to LA the 1st time, the Raiders are probably gonna be left out.

Wait, what? Lew Wolff wants to build a new ballpark in Oakland? :lupe:

Yep. Last I heard they offered to pay for it. The only condition was they didn't want to share the space with the Raiders. He basically changed his mind about the San Jose move when the Warriors said they were going to the city. Ole boy really wants Oakland to himself.
