How much paper did he lose over that line?
nothing..

as I said earlier, he came up real quick.. Reebok lost because now they have inventory that their stuck with.. paid him out a majority of his contract when he signed.. and, have to figure out how to make that back..

I'm sure Ross ain't the only one getting his papers terminated over there right now..

also- the people protesting, weren't direct supporters on a scale to where they could've put a dent in Reebok..

yep. who'd he get the boot from? DC? I remember he pulled a knife on that lady in shyt :heh:
it was kinda all at once..

then Phelps said something slick about him in Thrasher, and Bill went up to the offices and put the beats on him..

do you know if he passed..? my homie just hit back from S. America, and ran into a guy who knew him.. said he was dead..

I'm not calling you dumb.. But you are consistently saying things in here that aren't accurate or factual...

1st off.. Hip hop has ALWAYS been censored by ppl who don't listen to the genre

2nd

This situation with Ross isn't a precendent..The same exact thing happened to Ludacris 10 years ago...

What im sayin is that social media has amplified this by 100. This track actually became popular moreso for the "outrage" than the actual song. Now that these false protestors see a means of getting attention for their cause by attacking hiphop, it wont stop here. The precedent isnt necessarily Ross being dropped, but how easy it was for ppl who dont even truly believe in the cause to make this happen.

Are you really suggesting people need to come out and defend this dude's right to glorify date rape :heh:

nikkas can rap about and say whatever they want; I am just confused as to why they have to get paid to do it. Nobody is saying dude shouldn't be able to rap about date rape, just that companies shouldn't be forced to pay him to do so.

If you have a job and you don't represent them right, they should be able to fire you. It happens all the time and has nothing to do with freedom of speech

Did they have an issue with his murder raps? This isn't an issue of morality for RBK, it's them caving in ti to pressure to be politically correct.

I know your not going to argue that rape is worse then murder. And I didn't say anything about RBK being forced to pay him. I saying that the hip hop industry should not back down.

A cop killer can be the police on TV but your blackballed once you offend women? fukk that.

The only way hip hop can stand up is by not buying and wearing Reeboks...

Ross said the line was not about rape so why do you keep saying he was glorifying rape. I
