I respect him and his opinion but one thing I was told when going to school is…

…Those who can’t, teach…

And that came from a professor.
This doesnt apply to the ivies at all. especially the bussiness schools.

Ive heard this addage too, but it is more so and r2 or r3 institution problem.

At the r1 ivy or cali schools, They recruit based on your achievements in industry, govt, or research. Due to the brand of these schools, you literally cannot get that job without having proven yourself.

I been getting bushed for coming here to retell what this man has to say on American foreign policy and link his talks. Now people are coming around? :heh::manny:

You guys heard what he had to say at the European parliament on the Ukraine war?:sas2:Mans laid out in detail all of the relevant recent past going back to 1992. First hand knowledge because he was personally involved as a negotiator and as an economic advisor to European governments to stabilize their finances and currencies. America been pushing for war because Russia under Putin decided for self-determination and to not fall in line to American domination.

After the Soviet Union fell, Russia wanted to join with the West and modernize, and welcomed American advisors to remake their governance and financial systems, only to ultimately find that this led to a completely corrupt system. Government services cut back, privatizations, cuts to education, pension funds looted, along with natural resources. Classic IMF World Bank policies as dictated by Washington and Wall St. An elite became immensely enriched to run the show - Russian oligarchs.

Bells should be ringing now, if you're an astute observer, because this is precisely what Argentina is presently suffering under Milei. That man is crazy, and people here recently had all the smoke for him in a thread. Well, he is simply doing exactly what Washington and Wall St tell him, exactly like Yeltsin in Russia before.

US government and the deep state is vile. The owner donor class thrives on exploiting the American people by sucking up any and all economic surplus, and by exporting wars and "regime change operations" to any place that doesn't abide by its World Bank IMF system.

Americans are held to believe the rest of the world is either a shythole or ruled by corrupt autocrats, that evil dictators are out to dominate their regions with imperial ambitions. In reality, the two arms of American hegemonic power, the MIC and the IMF/World Bank, are just out there funding and supporting genocidal destructive wars because the oligarchs in the end make out like bandits.

It used to be that some of the fruits of the American hegemony trickled down to the people, masking the inherently imbalanced exploitive system, but that ended when offshoring of manufacturing began, and ever since then the bottom has fell out. Generation after generation is doing worse than the previous, until I suppose we will revert back to the mean of dark middle ages, or dikkensian society.

European and Western systems are simply fundamentally exploitive, notwithstanding the espoused democratic and individual liberty values. America is set to repeat the fall of the Roman empire, the trajectory is the same: an economic polarization between oligarch elites and the 99%, until the point where people have simply stop giving a fukk and everything crumbles to dereliction.

Whoa, this guy has done a lot, such as transitioning former communist countries into capitalism. Come to think of it, that's a really bad saying

"Those who can, do, those who can't teach".

There's a whole lot of professors who teach and do research. Those same professors brought about the internet, artificial intelligence, and bio breakthroughs like mRNA vaccines.
