Because most white conservative men don't give a fukk about their own women unless it involves sex, cooking, cleaning, taking care of the home and shutting up

they didn't want them to vote, work, they're trying to control their bodies, they don't respect women in authority positions.....they show their women who is in charge and runs shyt and their women fall right in line. They don't want their women getting any power because they think they will not need them.

When did I ever say that I don't care if republican polices hurt black people?

I said the lgbt know by them jumping on certain stuff that it will get shut down and hurt black people and those same lgbt people don't care how it harms us.

yall start defending the lgbt community while they never do the same for black folks, you will never see an 11 page thread, twitter thread, ig post with a bunch of comments with them defending us.

You got black folks on here calling other black folks names and other shyt all because they said shyt bout the lgbt ...writing paragraphs to defend them:snoop:

I'm done

Breh literally within one paragraph you go from claiming the lgbt community is always involving themselves into our movements to claiming they don't give a fukk about us and would never defend or speak for black issues.

You are literally just spitting any smart-dumb barbershop talk, coli nikka babble that pops in your head without even putting it together. Breh, just leave the thread. Your embarrassing yourself.

I hope Florida secedes. Since they want to be so different from the rest of the country they should become their own. Do their own Brexit and see how that works out for them
Maybe Cali should Secede...Maybe Texas should secede...Maybe New York should secede..News Flash, this country went to war with itself to bring the racist ignorante south back into the capitalist fold...Florida isnt going anywhere

Are you saying Biden isn't maintaining white supremacy currently from a policy standpoint?

So the Trump Administration and their judges either successfully did, or announced that they would:

1. Block billions of dollars of assistance to Black farmers because it was "racially biased"
2. End affirmative action
3. Gut the Voting Rights Act so that southern politicians could disenfranchise black people via gerrymandering and restricting voting access
4. Stop the teaching of systematic racism in American schools
5. Drop all civil rights cases in every government department
6. Drop all investigations into police racism
7. Lift all consent decrees on police departments previously found to have been acting in racist ways
8. Eliminate disparate impact rules for banks and insurance (meaning that it's no longer illegal for banks and insurance companies to make decisions that systematically hurt Black people)
9. Weaken criminal justice reform and reignite the War on Drugs
10. Kneecap enforcement of the Fair Housing Act
11. Stop pursuing racial equality in school discipline

Those are the specific things that Trump did to further white supremacy from a policy standpoint. He is actively working in that direction. Now, can you name the similar things that Biden is doing?

Most important for the long term - do you want Ketanji Brown Jackson deciding Supreme Court cases, or do you want Neil Gorsuch to do that? Because that has an impact on EVERY law for the next 40 years. We could have the most pro-black president in history get elected in 2044, and he still won't be able to shyt if justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett have combined forces with two Desantis judges to block every single law that helps Black folk.

It's crazy. It's clear ending all free speech of speaking on racism, inequality, disparities and white supremacy in American society and history is at the forefront of their cultural and legislative goals, but dudes are really here caping and rooting for the white supremacists and talking all this "alphabet gang" barbershop babble.

They can't be this freaking short sighted and DUMB.

Some of them are just contrarians - they don't educate themselves, they just feel like the cool kid if they go against the grain so they do so reflexively. Others are straight agents.

I hated Biden as a candidate. I don't think Biden is going to be the one to end White Supremacy, and I didn't want him to be the Democratic nominee. But if I had to choose between a group that is ACTIVELY trying to enforce White Supremacy permanently by putting life-appointment judges in place, and another party that is just bumbling around making limited progress, which one am I going to choose?

We are talking about Biden, not Trump...Again Biden is doing an effective job of maintaining White supremacy...Case in point, Black folk still at the very bottom of the economic totem pole thanks to his policies

Yeah, you're an idiot.

You can't name a single thing, and I named shyt Trump and his judges have done to specifically BLOCK Obama and Biden programs to help Black people. Now your only comeback is that Biden can't singlehandedly reverse all of American history with two years in office and conservative judges who say any program that mentions race is unconstitutional?

Let's start with the $4 billion he approved for Black farmers, which was then blocked by a Bush-appointed judge responding to a lawsuit by Republicans because it discriminated against White people.

Or the $30 billion a year in student debt relief he approved which was going to disproportionately help Black Americans, which was then blocked by 3 Trump judges and a Bush judge responding to a Republican lawsuit that claimed it was unfair to the profits of student loan companies.

You think Biden in two years should have magically reversed 200 years of accumulated disparity, when even the mild shyt he tried to do was blocked by Republicans. And I'm sure you'll somehow blame him for the Republican judges. It's an idiotic take.

I've now listed 13 seperate major ways just in the last 5 years that Republicans and Democrats have held opposite positions on concrete issues, and the Republicans are on the anti-Black side of every one. Meanwhile you haven't given jack shyt to support your argument other than wave your hands in the air.

DEI is definitely on the way out. When SCOTUS ends affirmative action it will have a direct effect on DEI because diversity was the basis the lawyers used to argue in favor of it. I would expect to see a lot of red states following suit in the same fashion they did when abortion was kicked back to the states.

It's kind of wild Desantis is still going all in with this this kind of stuff because he's gained all he can poll wise from these types of actions and nationally republicans still want Trump. Unless Trump dies or somehow doesn't run in 2024 Desantis is not going to beat him.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — “Today, Governor Ron DeSantis held a roundtable discussion on divisive concepts such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, Critical Race Theory (CRT) and the impact that these concepts have had on Florida higher education institutions and the students that attend them. These concepts are in no way inclusive, and instead force exclusion and division within higher education, and do not in any way contribute to learning or knowledge; as such, no funding from hardworking, tax-paying Floridians, including the parents of higher-education students, should be spent on these divisive initiatives.”

You're running so hard with your agenda that you're not even seeing the people you're arguing at.

* I didn't say you have to incorporate gay shyt into the Black struggle. Neither did OP.

* I didn't say you have to incorporate everyone's struggle together. Neither did OP.

* My point is not "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". I didn't say jack shyt about anyone having friends, and neither did OP.

* I didn't say you had to "choose a master". WTF are you talking about?

You came in with the ridiculous narrative that this shyt was "caused" by left-leaning academics conflating the black rights struggle with the gay rights struggle, and I clapped back on you because that didn't have jack shyt to do with causing anything. All of this bullshyt has been going on for decades long before academics did anything. These people don't give a fukk what academics do, they are going to try to oppress minorities because they're always tried to oppress minorities.

I have literally no idea what your motivation is with taking this derailment, but anyone who sees right-wingers doing this shyt and

fukk the Republicans and the Democrats. For different reasons.
I think the part of the liberal ideal that advocates for advancements in education social awareness and programs that benefit families is good for black people.
I think the pro abortion, pro lgbtq, pro immigration, pro surveillance and pro pharmaceutical industry position of white liberals is against the interest of black people.

I think the conservative ideals that promotes religion in public in life, anti abortion, pro family, anti surveillance 2nd amendment rights is good for black people.
I think the pro corporation, anti black, anti intellectual position of white conservatives is bad for black people.

To be clear I don’t support either position in its entirety. I’m simply explaining how two things can be true at once. This is the root of what I was saying originally. While I am against these measures to limit our voice and the dissent of our voices from desantis “newspeak”, I also recognize how left leaning intellectual movements have elected to interweave the narratives of other movements with that of black Americans in order to provide them with greater traction. So this one of the results is the wholesale rejection of all alternative narratives that are non white centered. In other words, black centered intellectualism has become a casualty of this ideological war between white liberals and white conservatives, and it was the error of black academics for once again thinking they had “allies” when history has taught us that we have none.

That DeSantis video is nonsense. He says he doesn't want anyone's ideology pushed. It's impossible to fully look at the hiatory of Black people in this country without critically examining and deconstructing white supremacy and its effects. He wanta to sanitize history to make white people comfortable.

Hold this rep. I applaud you for coming with the receipts. I spent years thinking that I could show facts and that would be enough. Whether it was relating to politics or Covid, folks would still argue against me while not showing anything that refutes my evidence. The Coli has a real problem with admitting to being right wing sympathizers, and instead frames it is if Democrats are actively sabotaging everything. Someone can claim “they aren’t doing anything“ and you can give them a Congress or senate.gov link showing exactly what they have committed to in the legislative process and folks will still argue as if they don’t know how civics works. A Progressive bill failing to get out of committee or being tabled by Mitch McConnell in the past is not a failure of the Democratic Party, but a feature of republican obstructionists. A lot of these cats just like to argue in bad faith while they keep a little red cap in their back pocket.
