I think they made the deal so they don't have to rely on Jones. Strengthen the defense, give JT 20+ carries, and try to let the QB manage the game.

The Jets made out like bandits. Two 1sts is already an overpay but they are terribly thin at WR so getting a young guy with potential like AD is icing on the cake.

Plenty. Our team really really really lacks talent (ask any Jet fan). In this upcoming draft we had major issues to plug up.

We needed a secondary corner (sauce wasn’t not a problem), a QB, another wide receiver to pair with Garrett, Safeties and nice edge rusher to pair with Johnson.

Now we need all of that and another lockdown corner while getting hit with 10 million in dead cap.

Sauce is a really good cover corner. He just doesn't make splash plays for turnovers(only had 6 INTs since high school, 2 forced fumbles). Not really his game.
