So we do nothing then? Didn't say it's the end all be all but it's better than nothing. Mfs can put a mask on but I guarantee you, ADT, Ring, Nest and all these other home security/camera companies still making bank. Shyt just meant to deter if possible but we all know it can't fully stop something.

It’s a band aid on a shark bite. If somebody wants you dead enough, a metal detector isn’t gonna stop em, it just gives the allusion of security. Same with those coward ass cops at uvalde.

Gun control needs to be a real conversation, you hunt or collect, cool, but these military grade weapons in the hands of civilians can fukk right off. :camby:

RIP to the kids that died. Problem is, a lot of principals and teachers overstep their authoritative boundaries, and piss off that *one* mentally ill kid that doesn't want to be at school. The result is constant tragedy.

It's pretty common. Even black kids are bringing guns to school now. I remember when the idea of a kid bringing a gun to school was egregious. Now it's par for the course. That goes for elementary and HS now.

kid bought a gun to school in the early 2000, played with the revolver in the back of the food & nutrition class while our group was making baked zeti.

Why aren’t schools getting Metal detectors? It’s needed at this point. Broke ass country can give trillions to other countries but can’t protect our own children from learning :snoop:
