They was testing on bats. Lead researcher fukked up and got infected. She infected the whole teams. The research facility was across the park from the wet markets. The researchers went their to eat, they infected the wet market customers. It started to spread. The first researcher was killed, the chines put the rest in quarantine. They then lied to cover the whole truth up blaming it on wet markets. Government funded researchers fukked up.

Can’t find the video anymore, native cac who lived in Wuhan made a video detailing all the things that happens with document proof of the cover up from the reachers notes, from the beginning of the experiments, to the government removing all traces of the lead researcher information and pictures of the government website. Also the other researchers have been fire and won’t respond to calls or emails. Lead researcher family has not been able to find or contact her in months.

Also, once the lead researcher got sick, the government posted an job offer to high level scientist who has experience in viruses. To work at the lab this was days after the lead researcher was contaminated. All this was available to the public before the crisis, the cac in the video showed actual pictures of the Documents and the job ad.
