LOL nah breh, wayyy too late for any of that. A few weeks ago, sure, but not after Trump himself came out as, at the very least, a Nazi/white supremacist sympathizer. At this point he could dump Bannon, Gorka, Miller and Sessions all at once and it wouldnt matter. He revealed his true self and he aint changing anyone's opinion on that, period.

Plus Im pretty sure this firing wasnt some strategic move to try to appear a move toward moderation, and more Trump being pissed off at Boozer Bannon talking reckless and contradicting him in that interview. Bannon took the spotlight and took credit for Trump's success, which is a huge no-no for the insecure orangutan. I doubt they're on the same page.

Ditto for any proclamations of "stability" in the administration :skip: shyt is falling apart more rapidly than ever, Trump is burning every bridge in sight, CEO's denouncing him, biz council disbanding, arts council disbanding, infrastructure council which never got off the ground is kaput, charities walking away from him. The death spiral is well underway.

Some of y'all are overthinking this as some 14D chess move by Trump. He's not firing Bannon because he wants to appear less alt-Reich. He's not firing Bannon to appease the center-right republicans. He's firing Bannon simply because he shytted on him in the phone interview.

Trump doesn't give a fukk about appearing less alt-Reich. He does give a fukk about "loyalty" and slights.

bannon was trump's beard for the white supremacists and white folks angry that poc were on their lawn. trump used him and threw him to the bushes like a empty crack vial.

I don't know if folks are exactly caping for Bannon being in the White House. It's just strangely enough Bannon was dangerously on the left on numerous issues. Him not getting some of the more left wing proposals is a positive politically speaking but his "voice of reason" regarding North Korea and Venezuela missing now is a bit disconcerting.
