It could have been happened because Atlantic was pushing for it after Paper Trail but TI has an ego that won't allow someone to shine with him.

Doesn't really seem as that's what he is after, but I could be wrong.

Dude is the owner of the parent company of Tidal, so he is in the position to give other artists (mostly black) a piece of the action, which Tidal's competitors would never do. If Tidal becomes huge, they will all cake off of it, and I applaud him for that.


This is why those other companies and media tried to force a negative opinion of it in people's mind, which would lead to inevitable failure, but even through that preconceived notion, it's still in the race, with no end in sight.
