We don't understand that power that we have in the entertainment industry. If all black artist go to all black distribution channels (Like Irv Gotti talked about way back when) it's game over for white cooperations.
I always wondered why we couldn't do this a long time ago, well not that long.
I hope it works.

Some people are catching feelings against Tidal. The only reason they shyt on it, is because Tidal is doing things that other streaming services aren't, and they are scared of change.

I am a Tidal customer, and ive been more then happy with it (especially in a hiphop sense). The people who hate on it, are the people who don't have it (ie... the cats who don't have it, but bytch about a live stream they aint paying for). It almost feels like this is going to be the new route for artists.

The main issue I've had with Tidal is the choppiness of the streams sometime. Songs would skip around because I'm guessing its buffering. I tried to use the Tidal family plan (added my girl) and had nothing but problems getting it to work. I cancelled my subscription and switched to Google Music. I'll give them a couple months to get their shyt together and will definitely switch back. I've used Google, Spotify, and Tidal so far and Tidal has the best content IMO. All they need is to fix the buginess with the app, add Chromecast support, and add PS4 support (the only thing I miss about spotify :mjcry:) and it'd be the GOAT music streaming service by far.

I think tip is one the greatest artist of our generation and a true down south legend in his own right! Let's be clear, the last best LP he ever created was paper trail (commercially/streets)! But these last albums/singles he's released have been average/below expectations...I hate to say it, but he's only worth a few singles and that's it. I respect his passion for the music and wanting to put units out, but numbers don't lie...he's not making good albums anymore :leon:

Breh, there is a legit agenda to destroy the image of Tidal. After Kanye last album #Tidal was trending on Twitter and the majority of the people commenting were pissed that they actually had to use Tidal to get the album. Tweet after tweet of people saying no matter what they'll never pay for Tidal, it sucks, it flopped, etc.

When Tidal was announced on here, everyone kept shytting on it despite none of them even using the service. There's some real fukkery going on behind the scenes :mjpls:

Breh Tidal has fukked up nearly every release it has had since jump street. I agree it has been treated unfairly to a degree but let's not forget it launched with a bunch of major artists demanding more money for their music. It was a bad look.

Tidal has not advantage or appeal to smaller artists or indies and the exclusives aren't handled well.

Naw it wasn't a bad look. It was a bunch of artists (majority of whom were black) attempting to own the distribution of their music. That's the main reason for the backlash but people like to pretend racism doesn't play a factor in shyt like this.

And nobody says shyt to Apple and how much money they're making when they have over 200 billion in cash reserves.

And what releases have they fukked up? The only release day event I caught of there's was the Jay Z B side concert and Lil Wayne concert and both played flawlessly for me.
