apparently the bengals never called the giants for wilson or jameis. went straight for flacco which is nuts. flacco lost his job to a 3rd round rookie and that rookie ended up almost beating the vikings. maybe flacco isn't an upgrade over browning.

Ever since steelers signed vick to backup ben. It seems the nfl is nkt gonna put a black stud qb at backup. When it makes sense to follow the westcoast offense bill walsh template of young backing up montana.

Yet in this instance...if the qb is black aftee vick. They are generally resistant to this roster move or following that model. That since jameis was the last one successful in this manner. They seem reluctant to sign a true black baclup qb. It seems that teams follow the good ole boi routine playbook. That beli did to cam in ne.
Where said true black backup qb will not be shown grace or precedence.
