Early. Plus they don’t need his offense with shai, Cheeto, Williams. Meanwhile, Giggity is one of the worst defenders in the league

shooting percentage comes around, and its not like he's taking a bunch of shots anyways
bulls are 6-9 and gave up 143 points a few days ago

Folks are going to be in for a rude awakening when he ends up balling out in Chicago. He showed during the Olympics, he's a much more aggressive scorer than what many are led to believe, and he's a pretty damn good playmaker too. He's just wildly erractic at times, and as much as he can make winning plays, he can erase them with bad ones.

He'll end up being a diet version of Luka for the Bulls.

Better be over 30 million. I know he's not the defender that Suggs and Quickley are. But his play making ability rebounding and impact should be enough

I'm not sure he's a diet version of Luka yet. He's not a bad player indeed. In fact he's been playing well for them statistically.

Like you said he's a ball dominant player and OKC had too many chefs in the kitchen so they had to move him.

However we don't know what kind of contract he's getting this summer. If he gets massively overpaid and it turns out that his great looking stats were only there when Bulls were not trying to win games...then yeah he'll be a difficult contract to move.

We'll have to see what he looks like if/when Bulls sign more actual good players and try building a team that at least looks like a championship contender-ish. Until then, he's doing very well...on a team that's way below the 50% win percentage.

He did well for team Australia, but they are having a transition going from their old generation to new one. Ben Simmons is a fukking bum who is yet to suit up for them. Exum never reached his potential mostly because of injuries. This probably was the last year of Patty Mills elite basketball for Australia. Ingles is too damn old. So Giddey had more opportunities on the team last year, but they didn't win any medal in recent two international tournaments back in 2023 and 24. Will be very interesting to see Dyson Daniels on Team Australia next tournament, he's been doing well for Atlanta Hawks.


Diet version of Luka I imagine is someone who can take very mediocre talent to 50% win-ish record. We'll see about that.

a lot of ppl probably wrote giddey off largely because he got exposed in the mavs series, but his shooting has improved every year. starting in february hes been more aggressive and the raw numbers alone during that span are all star caliber. he continues to play well to end the season 30 mil a year might not end up being a bad deal for the bulls.
