Back when black athletes had a social conscience and weren't only dictated by endorsements

i remember when i first saw that pic. i was like

bobby mitchell, willie davis, bill russell, jim brown, kareem abdul-jabbar all became world champion hall of famers in their respective sports.

can you imagine a group of say marshawn lynch, von miller, tim duncan, emmitt smith, and shaq coming together to decide whether to support a boxer so famous like say floyd () who is opposing the war?
