What Texans gonna do now? I did want to see Tony play on another team that's not NFC East. I was looking forward to see how he would do playing for a team with a real defense and has weapons like Hopkins, Miller, etc. They should've had Tony play that entire Week 17 Eagles game now just for a career retirement celebration type thing.

This is a smart move on his behalf. Great Salary in TV talking about coverages and blitzes he didn't even recognize himself.

But in all honesty, this is wise considering his back wont ever be 100% again and in the grand scheme of things, dude is young.
For real, two back surgeries at the age of 37...very smart move

He wanna be able to play with his kids

Breaking news....

http://nypost.com/2017/04/04/tony-romo-retiring-from-nfl-for-broadcasting-job/

The Cowboys had planned on releasing the injury-plagued quarterback on Tuesday after two months of indecision by the franchise.

Romo, 36, will be in high demand in the broadcast world with significant offers from FOX and CBS previously reported.

Romo missed most of the 2016 season with a broken bone in his back and was replaced by rookie Dak Prescott, who led the Cowboys to a 13-3 record and the top seed in the NFC.

Romo was thought to be the top target of the Texans and Broncos, but now his decision will offer some clarity in the free-agent quarterback market.

damn cac qbs go str8 to broadcasting no wait no training :stopitslime:
