Never was a big fan but from what people in the game say, Troy Ave's work ethic is excellent. I don't doubt that he has way more money than people think he does.
I think his work ethic is a big reason he got a radio push here. A lot of artists are lazy as fukk or just young and dumb.

yeah i was always so-so on his music but his hustle was more than respectable. he was doing a lot of shyt, all the time. pocket watching is looked down upon on here but I wouldn't be surprised that in 2014 to 2016 troy ave was making like 10k - 20k a week on a regular basis. people clown on his album sales or whatever... which he probably pocketed more than i make in a year on easily... and that was probably his lowest and slowest income stream. walk through money is ridiculous - i don't think there is an easier way out there to get a couple stacks

His bail was half a mil and he bailed out instead of bonding out. When you paying a half a million dollar bail, you're more than likely gonna have to put up something (likely a house) for collateral. Even if a nikka got 500k to drop on bail, it may not be the smartest decision. Then they might want to question the money or something, and it's just easier to put up a big asset. It's actually common practice.

I don't know how much money Troy is getting, but him using his moms house for collateral on a half a million dollar bail does not mean he's broke/not getting money.

yup.. even if you had "quick" access to liquid millions its better to put up an asset. they want to account where the money came from (usually only if you are awaiting trial/sentencing for a crime involving money though, but still) and even more important there goes $500K that you won't have access to while you are fighting your case. why let the court have your cash for what could be years? that's ridiculous.

he got radio play because of relationships to djs not because of any "movement" or "work ethic". If that was the case, then many more local artists would be getting played on the radio
