I actually agree with you for the most part my issue with folks like Tariq is he downplayed the danger of Trump this term.

I agree with you right back. Tariq, in his current form, is good for rallying the troops, not political strategy. If you keep that in mind, you can recognize his utility to the overall delineation movement.
