Also I just realized how much of a waste of money this is.

Do you realize how much money it takes to build a reinforced bunker for an unenecesary nuclear test? And even worse these bunkers are single use so with every test you have to build a new bunker.

Not to mention all of the man hours and material required to make a bomb when you already have 5,000 of them that have been proven to work.


How many hospitals could this same money have built?


Like really sit back and think about this for a second. They are cutting Medicare funding, snap funding, and even section 8 funding but somehow we have enough money to make our 6,000th nuclear bomb

The reason they stop a lot of the testing is because the US almost kept dropping live nukes on our ground.
Last big fukk up was an air force crew I think in Louisiana doing a flight test on dropping nukes and accidentily putting a live nuke on the training vessel.
I believe some air man caught it before they dropped it.

The Commander was removed from duty after. i think something similar whappened with the navy.
