Disagree. We are not in as bad a state as our ancestors. That I think is a fact. There are things that can be better and in someways we may be worse (I.e. our collectivism) but I think it would be an insult to our ancestors who had to look away from white folks walking down the street and act subservient towards whites not to be killed to say we have it as bad as them.

Funny thing is I know like 2-3 women named Celeste, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it was one of them.

Ruston/Grambling area has always been underrated especially during the fall and early spring when at lot of stuff is going at Grambling State and Tech campuses.

Had some of the best times of my life running around and living in that area from 2003 until about summer of 2011.
