Here's the thing. Yall want to say snitching is "gangster" lingo, then so is "civilian". Civilian just means not a member, not an innocent or someone who isn't active.
But either why does it have to go to extremes. He seen what time Puffy was on he could've handle it or fell back and kept his distance from Puff. No need to ever speak on any of it.

Cudi didn't say a single word about this when it happened. He stayed silent for over a decade.
They broke into his house and he didn't tell on Puff. He went to see Puff face to face. They burned his car and again he went to see Puff. They kidnapped a woman and he called police for her safety but it didn't lead to anything. He still met with Puff. Years later Puff apologized and Cudi said he accepted it. Not one time did he talk about this. No interviews, no podcasts, not in a song... he stayed quiet. Half these so called gangsters would've been doing vlogs, Vlad, No Jumper, and dropping subliminals about this in real time. Cudi more of a G then those nikkas.
Cassie tells the story, the feds charge Puff, and Cudi gets a subpoena to testify. We would've never known about this if she didn't involve him in her case.
You have no choice but to talk if you're called to the stand. Cudi was minding his business all these years but he's supposed to do jail time for refusing to answer questions on Puff
Y'all don't realize how stupid you sound. Every last one of you claiming he's a snitch would be on the stand singing like Luther Vandross if you were in his position. No one here is derailing their life and career for Puff. Stop playing gangster on the internet. It's not believable.

I’m just saying one would be called a snitch for these things. You don’t have to be a criminal to be a snitch. “Snitched get stitches” is a saying for a reason.
Even when kids would tell the teacher would write the “bad words” on the chalkboard while she was out of the classroom.
Of course it isn’t a snitch in the criminal sense but these are still examples that would label someone a snitch or a tattle tale etc.

Also in response to the bolded, I was told the same thing, but I eventually grew up to learn it is situational based. People still holding on to that "I won't snitch, no matter what" are children and need to grow the hell up honestly.

Some snitching things are reasonable l others are not which makes it weird.
Putting someone telling the cops that they saw Harvey Weinstein put a pill in a minors glas, being a Karen and calling the cops on your neighbor smoking weed, or telling on your fellow gang member is not the same thing. Calling all of them snitches is of course technically correct, but that also means that the term snitch is pointless
