It's the principle, shouldn't be going to a place like that at all, the price difference between ihop and a middling restaurant/diner isnt that great, why not just take the bullet, how much money are you really saving there? I feel like this is only a problem for serial daters.

Chili's, Applebee's, Dennys, IHOP, Red Robin, Red Lobster, Shari's, these types of restaurants all taste the same to me, don't know how to describe it other than a 'plastic or bland' taste. I was forced into going to a Red Robin last year and the atmosphere was depressing, I felt like I was 40 years old with 3 kids.

Ihop aint no fancy date night type shyt but for a meet up and hang out there’s nothing wrong with it.

She would go to ihop any other time especially if she’s paying for her own shyt.

I’m not trying to do a date night at ihop if I’m in a relationship but chick shouldn’t complain really. The date is about spending time to get to know each other. She could’ve easily just took the free meal or found her own way home if she wasn’t feeling it… or just say she doesn’t like ihop.

Ihop is some shyt you go to when you been in a relationship forever, hungry, got multiple kids, and just want a place to sit where the food/atmosphere is tolerable and that shyt isn’t expensive.
