Old women have had an opportunity to become a wife. It wasn't hard to show that to the men they grew up around and went to school with. But don't come with demands. Men don't respond to that, especially when they are just figuring life out themselves.

What happens with most older women is they go off get educated, get a job, get a house, and won't budge even a little bit for a man that might be willing to come in and make them a wife. At that point they won't change their life, and the "friends" they hang around most likely will sabotage any real relationship from happening. So it really is about how women have changed to become more like men. Women are meant to be led, that's why they love group think.
