Breh didn’t have enough money to pay for his haircut and the barber almost caught a felony charge. Was he overreacting?

I’m seeing this a lot. in the South the phrase:

leh’me borrah’a dolla (AAVE)

let me borrow a dollar (SAE)

is not regulated to a fixed dollar amount, i.e $1.00. Often times, the recipient of that request will reply with “how much” even though “a dollar” has already been stated.

In regards (and context) to the video, the statement from the assailant “nigguh, borrah’a dolla” could be anywhere from $1.00 to $20.00 depending on the price of haircut.

Little breh must've not have been a regular or this wasn't the first time he pulled this stunt.
