Breh didn’t have enough money to pay for his haircut and the barber almost caught a felony charge. Was he overreacting?

dude was wrong for not having the money. but depending on how much a haircut cost, I wouldn’t wild out like that. would just tell that nikka not to enter that shop again
For me i would agree with this if it was something he needed. like he was dollar short on some groceries or something.
But if you can't afford a haircut, just be dusty for a bit or cut your own hair until you can afford it, you don't need to have a barber cut your hair. Don't waste that man's time, when he could've been cutting someones hair that could've tossed him extra gratuity on top of it. You didn't just cost him a dollar you wasted a haircutting spot for someone with bigger pockets.

Both were wrong. You don't get a service knowing you don't have it. You also don't act like that for a dollar but I get the disrespect felt. Couldn't have been a regular

I would just ban him from the shop, all the extra shyt was unnecessary for a dollar. Barber was being a bully.

Getting a haircut when your account is on zero is goofy. Not trying to bash broke boys But you can't be out here getting $25 haircuts we have $25 in your account (I'm actually bald gang since 2014, I don't even know how much haircuts cost anymore but you get my drift:francis:)

But then again so is squabbling over $1 even though I understand that more.

haven’t seen this in years

barber seemed to be on some lighthearted, halfway serious shit until the excuses came out with that goofy grin.

dude would’ve been better off standing up and offering to sweep the floor for the rest of the day or coming back to pay him later in the day or some shit. he didn’t offer any recourse only excuses.

You're okay with people playing with your money. Not everyone is.
Its not about it being okay, it’s about whether the response was worth it. At the end of the day he didn’t really hit the dude so what happened was not that bad. But if he’d taken it any further over a dollar, then nah. Tossing that dude around ain’t gon make a dollar appear in his pocket. Embarass/check him for a few seconds, kick him out and don’t let him come back to the shop.

How it even get to this point
You should have enough rapport with the barber to owe him $1 or at least come back with it
Then dude doing all this he obviously got no respect for you cause a barber is a sitting duck, no way he should be that comfortable manhandling a dude who know where he going be at for 40-50 hours a week
