Corporate gifts are applied differently

My bonuses always got taxed hard for some reason.

But I'm old enough to recognize that I ain't seen everything or know everything.

Per Google on gift tax

If you gift more than the exclusion to a recipient, you will need to file tax forms to disclose those gifts to the IRS. You may also have to pay taxes on it. If that's the case, the tax rates range from 18% up to 40%

How much money can a person receive as a gift without being taxed?

Most presents to friends and family will fall below the annual threshold for taxable gifts. In 2016 and 2017, a taxpayer could give up to $14,000 per person per year without being taxed on the gift (that rises to $15,000 in 2018).

Definitely not scripted or fake. He was a random man they picked. He make it look easy and scripted because that's the definition of Black Excellence. Now what's up with y'all with this tax sht? Do y'all nikkas work at H&R Block or something? Y'all deducting this man taxes for him? How bout we just say he takes home the full $100k. Y'all going into deep details about how much he go bring home after taxes sound like some low key hating sht. Hopefully they already deducted taxes and the $100k is what he brings home after taxes

Even if he had to pay taxes, 60k from a 200$ ticket is a bargain :heh:

Really is pointless to bring up. Like my man will be stewing over the unexpected bonus.
