I see his point. Why stay at a company when it doesn’t benefit you in the long run. It’s not like every company pays a pension to reward a long tenure. His 5 year plans make sense since most 401k are fully vested by that period. Take your money and move on.

People who can find jobs quickly legit impress me. I got a buddy who will quit a job if his check is off by a couple bucks and by next week he’s found a new job already. Some people just got that talk game where they can get whatever they want just with words and body language
I've had 3 positions at 3 different agencies in the last 5 years. I've been at my current for 7 months and have an interview Tuesday. I'm not staying anywhere I'm unhappy or unfulfilled. I have loyalty to myself and the money I'm trying to make. I don't understand people who stay at jobs/companies past 5 years. Especially if they're unhappy just to remain "loyal". If you're happy and the money is good, fine. If not, what are you doing?
