Yeah but the first shot (immunoglobulin) has to go in/around the wound. The rest of the shots go in your arm (4 more). If you've been vaccinated before the incident, you don't need the initial one in the wound.

Had to get a rabies shot as well. They put a circle on my arm and I must have gotten about 30 shots around that circle. I'm not afraid of needles but damn it was uncomfortable and it hurt.

I had to go once a week for month and get the rabies shots. Bro not lying about the pain
