Ideology would be the only reason to keep the relationship going, but putin isnt as concerned about ideology as Krushchev or Brezhinev were.
Strategically speaking, the whole alliance is landlocked so they wouldn't even be useful for putin as a military staging ground in the same way Sudan or Egypt are.

If you riding the train or bus then the only way you avoid that is by sitting in the very back.

I hope people recognize the propaganda on display in this case mirrors what we see on the Coli with these "immigrant kills black person" threads. The reality is that intraracial violence is the dominant norm. Interracial violence is less common. What you are seeing is manufactured consent. They want non-white people to live in ever present fear of black violence, they want cities occupied by the military, and they want black people (SPECIFICALLY black men) racially profiled. And this murder is the hammer they're going to use to hit us with.
