Maybe its just me but im not feeling how in the past decade and some change. Theres been this fetishizing of mental illness specifically depression. That shyt isnt cool yet people are making that shyt out to be. Not saying that thats in this case but that shyt needs to be addressed.

RIP to this young man if this is true

RIP to this young Black man

Do we do enough as Black men to make sure all Black men in our lives know we are there in case they got stress or experience depression..?

When I saw the long list of friends he named, I thought “I have 1, 2 people I consider true friends...”

It’s sad that not 1 of them could help in the end, or convince him to get the therapy he needed. That’s not me throwing them under the bus. I’m just saying it’s a sad situation all around.

Depression is not an album thank you note type of post ...most goodbyes are actually quite brief....that dude just linked everyone to his goodbye...

He is kind of taking them with him...

Must be a new age thing....tagged your people on your way out

I haven’t read the thread any further than this post, but I hope you stopped right there. No need to waste another keystroke trying to reason with these #newBlack asexuals. Bow out and let them take their selfies on their “loved” ones graves and post them all on Fb with well thought out captions about how sad they are…all done “in honor their loved ones”.

Oh yeah, “something something everybody grieves differently” and sh*t too.
