I don't think he's clout chasing. I go to ranges that have full stalls. You can't see other shooters or know what they're shooting.

You shoot something big or fast and they start creepin over "Whatcha shootin there buddy?"

Most of the time they're pocket watching, wanting to make sure your not shooting something nicer than theirs. Seeing if you know how to use it or whether your a novice. And when your form is tactical and precise they get real nervous/upset. Usually they pack up and leave or relocate, I've seen them go as far to complain to the range officer and try to get the other guy removed.
