If you are in a field where you need to meet people then yeah paying that 3k+ a month to live in that high rise in LA then it might be worth it :yeshrug:

You may miss out on a bunch of opportunities living an hour and a half away in Riverside :yeshrug:

Depends of his salary and his job, if networking is crucial for his career then he does needs proximity.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Can’t find the video, but Breh was explaining that his mentor suggest he pays this obscene amount of money so he can be in proximity to certain places / closer to people who are on his / the “next” level.

Do you agree or disagree?
I got a very high earning neighbor that's told me the same thing about where he decides to eat out and hang out. He's not paying for the food he's paying to be in the room and who he might meet.

I disagree, any black man paying 3k/month rent is not living around his people. Upper middle class black suburbs pay 3k/mortgages black folk ain't renting shyt at that price.

No way in hell will I ever pay that much for rent unless it’s a luxury apartment.

Breh a furnished studio is considered luxury, nowdays. Meaning that you have the luxury to afford your own place in the city. Add on a communal gym, and you will be paying them luxury prices.

This is true. My mom lives in a mediocre apartment. Pays an above average rent. But she's 2 blocks away from a Level 1 Trauma Center, an hour away from multiple major cities, an amusement park, etc. Your fukkin right, sometimes your paying for proximity, which is fine. :yeshrug:
