@360Waves why is Kobe a c00n for having a Latina wife??
c00n is subjective but remedial nikkas like @10bandz kill me because they’ll be quick to hit you with the :mjpls: for calling Kobe a rapist but don’t see the irony in dedicating their whole internet career towards tearing down an actual pro-black, role model athlete (LeBron)…to big up a genuine scumbag who married an UNDERAGE Latina and then cheated on her by raping a WHITE woman :laff:

Keep in mind this dude is also a Shedeur Sanders super Stan and that family is openly MAGA. :dead: But if you ask him LeBron is the spawn of satan. Confused ass c00ns like him who don’t know how to separate literal basketball career decisions from real life shyt are one of the many many problems plaguing the black community

Whatever kept LeBron out of a police interrogation for (alleged) sexual assault, snitching on his teammates and dating an underage high school plug and alienating his Black family was the right move.

Everything else is immaterial. If you want an example of how to move, move like LeBron.

Aint read the thread...

Listened to the ig video. This showcases a fundamental problem with using these celebrities as inspiration for conduct

Shaq saying "you're not rich im rich" is empty rhetoric. His children are in environments full of resouces and families with access that can develop and guide him well beyond what Shaq supposedly won't "give " him. (If that was even an earnest statement by shaq in the 1st place)

Shaq kobe LeBron or whoever aint a translatable analogy to people who are eking out a life in from the working class to the precarious margins of society... which is the audience for that decontextualized bullshyt he talkin

So much of our point of reference to reality aint even reality! Its saddening

This is partly what comes from being "the epicenter of entertainment " which was boasted about another thread, as if thats actually a useful characteristic

You literally don’t know him breh please shut the fukk up.

I don’t know any of these dudes on a personal level but here’s what I do know:

MJ and Kobe grew up with their fathers in their life.

MJ:
* Alcoholic
* Gambling addict
* shytty teammate actively hated by several ex-Bulls
* Defended his father when it came out that the man was sexually abusing his daughters
* Potentially the reason behind his fathers death

Kobe:
* Physically bullied/assaulted multiple teammates, most notably Jeremy Lin and Smush Parker
* Snitched on Shaq to cover his own ass during the Colorado case
* Hated his parents guts and cut them off til the day he died so he could c00n with his Latina wife. Even sued them
* Literally raped a chick :dead:

LeBron:
* Had the audacity to want to go to a workplace that was favorable to him :mjlol:

This basketball Stan war shyt got you nikkas living in a WARPED reality. If you prefer Bean and MJ for what they do on the court I don’t give a shyt but there’s no universe wheee these 2 are better “men” than LBJ fathers be damned.

The kinda dudes who think Bron is “soft” and worship MJ/Kobe are the kind of idiots who buy into performative masculinity and think that being a “real man” is just being the most morally bankrupt a$$hole you can humanly be. The same type who have posters of mob bosses and serial killing gang bangers on their wall. The same type (if they’re white) who worship Trump and defend his every move because he has “machismo” and “tells it like it is” even though he’s actively destroying the country. These are not people you want to be associated with :dead:
These are also men from three different generations.

I don’t even understand the purpose of this thread. At least LeBron is raising a Black family and giving back to the Black community. We can’t even stay on code during Black History Month? Just shameful.

There is certain ways dudes move when they didn't have a pops ngl slight differences; sometimes major. I notice it in my friends.

I think the only time it shows in Bron is perhaps the lack of care regarding the switching teams stuff, getting teammates traded, actively trying to manipulate the "GOAT" narrative through things like Klutch etc There's a manipulative element to him in a way I haven't seen with many greats. You either notice or you don't.

MJ, Kobe, Steph for example move entirely differently regarding that stuff. whereas Bron or a KD you can feel a slight different energy. No hate though. Just spit ballin. Don't be upset with me single parent brehs.

Kobe Bryant's relationship with his father, Joe Bryant, was often described as strained, particularly after Kobe's rise to fame in the NBA. While they had a close bond during Kobe's youth, their relationship became more challenging as Kobe's career progressed.

Early years and the Lakers move:

Kobe and Joe were close during Kobe's high school years, even though Kobe was based in Italy and Philadelphia at times, reports say.

This closeness continued during Kobe's time at Lower Merion High School. However, their relationship reportedly soured after Kobe joined the Los Angeles Lakers and started his NBA career.

Falling out and subsequent efforts at reconciliation:

The relationship became strained, in part, because Kobe's parents, Joe and Pamela, didn't approve of his relationship with Vanessa, who he later married.

They also reportedly didn't attend Kobe and Vanessa's wedding in 2001.

In 2013, their relationship deteriorated further after Kobe's parents tried to auction off some of his memorabilia, including high school jerseys and championship rings, without his knowledge.

Despite these setbacks, Kobe made some efforts to reconcile with his parents before his death.
He even attended some of his father's coaching games for the Los Angeles Sparks.

However, it's unclear if they fully reconciled before Kobe's tragic death in a helicopter crash in 2020.

Kobe's perspective:

In a 2016 interview, Kobe expressed his frustration with his parents, saying, "Our relationship is s–t".

He also mentioned that they were selling his memorabilia, which further strained their relationship.

May they both rest in peace in heaven and reunite.
He was with his dad. Matter of fact he was always good with his dad. Mom wanted a son husband.
